What is that?

My colleagues and myself have been working on this installation piece for the past month perfecting it enough so that we can go about it on a grander scale. The end results are amazing and happy to see where the work lead us too. If you would like to check it out you can find it on display outside of SCI-Arc.

Building A Field

For a project in studio we were given two days to make a 6' by 2' kinetic sculpture, but not after some mock-ups were attempted to get to this point. So my colleague and myself were able to put this together by creating a three dimensional armature as well as attach interface to it so that it begins to emote and interact with natural forces, one being wind.

Someone said I should get back up

And so I think I will. Been so busy that I have not taken anytime to myself and I hope that by continuing this blog I can help alleviate my mind from the anchors of my school life. Due to my commitment to school I have not been able to create any new pieces or writings, but have been hard at work exploring materials and what is a field. So through this process my knowledge of how to manipulate something so that I can achieve a great effect is growing. I hope that during the winter break I will have something new to show for what I have gained.
